WELCOME TO BETWS-Y-COED
Betws-y-Coed is a picturesque village in the heart of the Eryri National Park, North Wales.
It is widely regarded as one of the UK’s most attractive and popular destinations. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, waterfalls and ancient woodland, Betws-y-Coed offers a classic Welsh landscape that appeals strongly to both UK and international visitors.
The village has a welcoming atmosphere with its stone buildings, independent shops, cafes and traditional pubs that give it a strong character and charm.
The station also provides opportunity to learn about conservation and sustainability, and the chance to do some good, with the Hangin’ Pizzeria and Oriel Ospie doing work to raise money and awareness for Great Ape Conservation.

Betws-y-Coed is a central hub for exploring North Wales. It is used as a base for outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing and walking, with access to well-known routes and natural attractions like Swallow Falls and the Gwydir Forest.
It is also within easy driving distance of Zip World, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and many historic castles.
The transport links are ideal for a rural destination, with the Conwy Valley Train Line passing right outside the Alpine Apartments, with stops from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Llandudno Junction, and the Sherpa bus through the Eryri National Park.
Come and stay with us in Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia.
